Meet Bob Feeser
Welcome to CompuSaves
The Early Years
I started computing back in the late 80's. I found my passion then, and found it now. The early machines with twin floppy drives, one for the program, and one to store the data, was a fascination. A major breakthrough was my first computer with a hard drive; a 386-25 with twin 40 meg hard drives. It had one meg of ram, and a monochrome black and white monitor. The excitement was more than I could bare. I owned a large business, going home that evening, I couldn't wait to go back to the office, and dive into the keys. I arose at 3 am and couldn't go back to sleep, so there I was, back in the office at the wee hours, diving whole heartedly into my DOS based 386. When I think back realizing that I spent $7400 for that machine, including a special program, and that was at a discount. At the time it was a breakthrough. On the front cover of PC Magazine was a banner with the words 386 with blazing 25 Mghz power. You could hook up to 10 people into it at the same time. That was unheard of for a desktop PC. Fortunately computing has come a long way since then. What you can buy now for only $500 makes the old 386 seem like a dinosaur. 25 Mghz has given way to multiple Gigaherz.
In The 90's
I helped out businesses and friends with their computing needs. I started building systems at that point, and became a registered Microsoft OEM System Builder. I branched out from support, into developing a sales company specializing in selling computer systems, and components. In 1996 I formally registered the name of CompuSave with the Corporation Bureau of Pennsylvania.
eBay
I also remember participating in the early eBay years. Even now I am proud to have served over 2,000 customers while not receiving even one negative feedback. I still have active accounts with eBay, even though I have not done very much with them recently. Here is a link to my original eBay account called CompuSaves, and another called ThankYouByOwner. If you dig through my feedback records, you will see from the comments, most all of them came from selling computer components. What made the difference was helping people with their computing needs.
Amazon
In the late 90's I started participating in Amazon as a reviewer of products. It seemed ashame to have spent all of that time researching a product, and not sharing what I had found with others. That lead to a passion of belonging to the Amazon community. I became a top 500 reviewer at Amazon, actually touching number 150 at one point, which is noteworthy considering their are over 25 million Amazon customers. Reviewer ranks are determined mostly by how many helpful votes are given by Amazon members on each review. Amazon themselves chooses a few reviews out of all of those submitted to become thier most helpful, or spotlight reviews at the top. If you would like to read some of my reviews, you can access my review profile at Amazon I am also providing that link as another reference, so you can rest assured you are dealing with a reputable person.
2000 and Beyond
For the past couple of years, I immersed myself in advanced web building technologies, using active server pages, SQL Server databases, Dreamweaver web publishing software, and Adobe Products like Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready. Out of that emerged a consumer orented site for real estate advertising, called ThankYouByOwner.com. When I started it, I never knew that the real estate industry would be going through such a downturn. Hopefully many people will be helped. A 112 page eBook titled "What You Should Know Before You Buy or Sell a Home" is available for all to read. If you know of anyone who is buying or selling a home it is highly recommended.
In 2006 I became an approved Microsoft Partner. That provided me with the opportunity for hands on experience and training of all their latest technologies.
That takes me up to now. CompuSave's PC Patrol Computer Services is the end result of a culmination of everything I have been doing. The emphasis is to support and serve. For many computing is a business tool, and for all, it is a center of enjoyment. 30% of the population is still not computer savvy. I encourage those new to computing, to understand that frustration leads to elation. The frustration you feel trying to figure out how to get something to work is only equal to the elation when you discover how it works. Then you realize that the way it works, means that you can also do this, and that. Sure enough you can. Then a new challenge is met, and the process starts over again. Everything is easy when you know how. So in addition to installing your components, and configuring everything, I always find time to share some how to information with those who ask for it. Nobody knows everything, but when we choose to concentrate our skills on a specific area, our ability to help others in that area grows. We can save you a lot of time. Time is money, and by providing a shortcut to your goals is our service.
Cutting Edge Technology with Good Old Fashioned Service & Reliability.
It is my intention to establish our PC Patrol services with introducing cutting edge technologies, while maintaining good old fashioned service and reliability. I know it sounds like a sales pitch, but I really mean it. I am a hands on service provider. Early on, you should expect me to personally be the one to take care of you. As the company grows, I will be expecting the same level of service out of everyone. Give us a try, I guarantee you will not be dissapointed. You can contact me personally at 610-228-4608. I hope to be sharing my time with you with the excitement of wireless portability, networking, and the many advantages possible with VOIP service. It turns your broadband connection into an ideal platform to save large sums of money on your phone bill, while enjoying all of the free features, like call forwarding, answer call, caller ID, to mention a few; features that are normally an expensive add on with a regular phone line.
Rather than install an expensive 800 number phone line, I invite people to have me call them back on my VOIP line. Beyond the low monthly rate, it doesn't cost me anything on a per call basis. So just say "I would like to hear your VOIP line" when you call, and I will call you right back. You can also Email Me with your phone number, and I will call you as soon as possible.
Quick Reliable Phone or On Site Service
I know what it is like when your computer goes down. It's like missing your right arm. Nothing feels right until it is back up again. I am here to speed that process. Call me for help. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to be of service to you. By providing a fixed price list, you are never left in the dark, having to worry about an open ended ticket. Our competitive rates are designed to let you get back to what you really want to do. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
